The first underground webzine from the Philippines has recently gone on a major overhaul. Changes are subtle but it does a lot of help in terms of ease of use. More interviews are also added which includes INCESTUOUS (USA), INHUMATE (France), GRINDSTONE (Germany), DECAPITATED (Phils.), KORIHOR (Phils.), BLOODSHED (Sweden), and lots more, plus reviews information about some Filipino bands, zines and labels/distros, etc.
Everyone is encouraged to get in touch, especially unsigned, lesser known, even unknown (yet!) bands for interviews and reviews as you are the very reason why the zine exists. You can also send in your web/e-mail address if you want to be on the link page. Genre is not an issue here although they personally am into Brutal Death /Grind and that means if you fall into this category, it's a major plus!!!

The band will be flying all the way to Florida for their next effort and it'll be engineered, produced and most likely mastered by Erik Rutan himself in his very own studio, Dimensional Sound Studios! Expect a much more killer sound than the band's previous effort. The release date is yet to be confirmed. However, if everything goes as planned, it should be safe to say that a March/April release is possible. Paw Nielsen will most likely be doing the artwork again this time. And yes, DIES IRAE PRODUCTIONS will stick to their usual practice of making the first pressing of 500, 1000 or 2000 copies a limited edition. In what form, you may ask? Well, they'll think of something. Whatever it is, we'll make sure it'll be worth your every penny!

Most recent signing, FLY MACHINE *formerly known as the mighty Confessor!!! This band rules... as much as their other releases. It is really hard to describe them but if you've heard Confessor before, then you'll have an idea of what FLY MACHINE is all about... only better, perhaps?!! • Changes in the line-up...
CENTURIAN has decided to move on without Bassplayer Patrick and Singer Seth. Both are much more involved in their other band and because of that their time available for Centurian was very limited. Rob and Wim; Guitar and drums, continue Centurian and are looking for one new member. More about this later. Inspite of this split the sound and style of Centurian will not change much, 'cause since the beginning of Centurian back in 1997 Rob and Wim together took care of all music, lyrics, artwork and other work for the band. CENTURIAN see their departure as a step forwards 'cause they are very positive about finding a new member soon who will reinforce Centurian to be stronger as ever before. However; CENTURIAN stay very close friends with Patrick and Seth and both our bands will support eachother in the years to come. Maybe they even can do more gigs together now they don't have members playing in both bands anymore.

There is a new release in the works, a farewell CD of Germany´s mighty R.U.Dead?, which sadly split-up in ´98! Everybody should be familiar with that cult band, which includes former Poison members that released the infamous "Into the Abyss" MLP! The CD is going to feature material from over 10 years, including a total of 13 songs in 75 min., taken from their ´90 demo, "Hypnos" 7" ´92 (Morbid Records), "Nothing Will be Forgiven" MCD ´95 (still a few copies available, get in touch!), "A Thought Before the Kill" MLP ´97 (limited to 200 copies and totally sold out) and a yet unreleased song from March ´98 (the last recordings ever done)! "Completely Dead", which is the title of the CD, will be released in co-operation with Sempiternal Records from Chicago, Il and is expected early 2001!
"They style of the band has it´s roots in the music of Germany´s POISON which played Black/Death Metal long before it became a trend (´84-´87) and is therefore refering mostly to the Thrash/Death/Doom happenings of the 80´s (Slayer/Pestilence/Death/Coroner/Trouble/ Venom etc.) without trying to be "retro" or "True Metal". The main goal of R.U.Dead? was to write powerful/heavy/RAW material with quite some variaton but without trying to follow any kind of trend like crossover, so-called "Gothic Metal" or Black/Grind-Noise bullshit"
