RITUAL ORCHESTRA (Indonesia)
Seeking Immortal
Psychic Scream Entertainment, 1999
I was surprised to see this tape on the shelves in local cassette outlet. I must
congratulate Psychic Scream Entertainment because of the
cover and inlay re-designing of this album. Believe me, the original version sucks. The
artwork is immature, the font are too small and too curly making it hard to read and
trying to hide the track title by spelling some words backward like Satan (natas).
Definitely, Psychic Scream Entertainment have choose the
wrong Indonesian band. RITUAL ORCHESTRA delivers nothing that
plain monotonous black metal. All tracks sound the same, horrible drumming, nothing really
interesting can be found here. RITUAL ORCHESTRA
must also learn some more English grammar lesson.

MISTIK / RITUAL ORCHESTRA (Malaysia / Indonesia)
Perjanjian Ilmu Hitam
Psychic Scream Entertainment, 1999
Two Psychic Scream Entertainment's most famous black metal
band in one CD (actually, at the time of this review being made, these are the only two
black metal band in this label). Wow, what a great CD... MISTIK
features songs from their Airmata Sesalan EP while RITUAL ORCHESTRA songs are (as said) taken from Satan My Embrace EP (this songs also available in Seeking Immortal album). I don't want to comment further. I don't
like it and I never will. Just check my review on the respective releases
elsewhere.

RITUAL ORCHESTRA
(Indonesia) / BLODSRIT (Sweden)
Storm Of Immolation
Psychic Scream Entertainment, 2000
New compositions from R.O. 4 (long) tracks from them in this split CD. Not
much have changed since "Seeking Immortal" album. Great vocals but the music
is not too inspiring and too long for me to hear. Those who like fast 'ugly'
black metal in 7 minutes (straight and non-stop) then R.O. is yours.
BLOTSRIT is a one-band band. Yes, you can't separate one-man band and his
drum machine. Luckily 2 tracks (out of 6) use real drum hammered by Rogga (Pagaziner,
also the former member of this band). Just typical Scandinavian black metal.
The CD is an average release.
